Sports Instruction Classes Start With Regular Coaches

Calisthenics, Tumbling Feature Free Athletic Training

Special instruction classes in nine different sports for both Freshmen and Upperclassmen began yesterday under the supervision of Norman W. Fradd, assistant director of physical education and several Varsity coaches.

Courses in calisthenics, tumbling and gymnastics, volleyball and special exercise are now underway at specified periods during the week. In addition, training in basketball, fencing, swimming and wrestling also started for all applicants.

Gym classes at 5 o'clock each afternoon will continue, while conditioning periods have begun in the Special Exercise room of the Indoor Athletic Building. The boxing program will begin when coach Harry Lamay is relived from football duty.
