Chivalry doesn't pay was the lesson learned by a would be Sir Walter Raleigh from Dunster House yesterday afternoon.
The incident occurred on Prescott Street, in back of the Faculty Club, when the Dunster House resident who was going to a class, saw an old women trying make her way across the icy road. A Harvard man in the best tradition, he rushed over to her and offered he his manly arm.
Half way across the street our gallant here slipped and fell, spraining his ankle in the process. The old woman, still standing and unhurt, helped him to his feet and guided him safely to the opposite sidewalk.
