KINGSTON, ONT., Feb. 18:--Winning a hard, fast game by a score of 6-2, the Queens University hockey team moved in top place in the International Intercollegiate hockey league tonight with its victory over a fighting Harvard team.

Although the score might indicate a one-sided fixture, the Stubbsmen put up a great battle and at no time were they far behind. The last minute saw some rough play but the major portion of the game was cleanly played with only two penalties.

Austie Harding opened the play for Harvard with a long, lopping shot at 2.45, and play continued fast for the first eight minutes with both squads very evenly matched, and Johnson made several lovely saves before the tricolor knotted the count near the end of the period.

After a wild scramble in front of the net at the end of the second frame, Joe Patrick jabbed the other Harvard score into the net. Previously Queens had scored twice, and the period ended with the Canadians out in front 3-2.

Not until the last five minutes did Queens step out with two more goals to sew up their victory. The play was fast and furious, with the Crimson at times slightly bewildered by the International rules. Both goalies were outstanding, being the hardest worked men on the ice.

Tonight the Harvard team moves on for a game with Toronto there. QUEENS  HARVARD Poupore, f.  f., Harding Williamson, f.  f., Mechem Munro, c.  c., Patrick Miller, d.  d., Hicks McGinnis, d.  d., Emerson McEwen, g.  g., Johnson
