Cited for his histories of Harvard Dr. Samuel Eliot Morison, professor of History, was one of a group of six research specialists honored Monday by the Educational Research Association when it made its first annual award for outstanding contributions to scientific knowledge in education.

Professor Morison conducted his historical research at Harvard.
