NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Victor O. Jones '28, sports editor of the Boston Globe and a former President of the CRIMSON will address all Freshmen interested in entering the spring news and photographic Board competitions of the CRIMSON at 7:30 o'clock tonight at the CRIMSON Building, 14 Plympton St.

A widely read and nationally known newspaper columnist, Jones is one of the youngest sports editors in the business. He entered big-time journalism in 1928, after having served successfully as Managing Editor and President of the CRIMSON. His rise in less than 10 years from cub reporter to sports editor of one of the largest dailies in this part of the country is considered meteoric in newspaper circles.

The meeting tonight will the the last chance for news and photographic candidates to enter the spring competition. It is unlikely that a sophomore competition will be held next fall. Candidates for both boards will start work Monday.
