Cornel West, Harvard Affiliates Call for University to Divest from ‘Israeli Apartheid’ at Rally
Many months ago, before hostilities started in the Peiping area, the University sent a shipment of 1,500,000 library cards to the Yenching Institute in Peiping, China.
While the cards were on route, hostilities broke out and delivery was indefinitely delayed. Recently a shipment did arrive. Visualizing stacks of cards, the Yenching authorities opened the shipment only to find, much to their surprise, nine cases of canned cherries.
The Purchasing Agent of the University, William G. Morse, now announces that the cards have finally been located in Tientain.
