Dr. Gunnar Myrdal, noted European economist, will give the final two free, public lectures of his series on "The Population Problem and Social Policy" here this week, this afternoon and Wednesday at 4 o'clock in the New Lecture Hall. He will discuss remedial means for halting population decline.
Professor Myrdal, who is lecturing here under the Godkin Lecture Foundation, is Professor of Economics at the University of Stockholm, adviser to the Swedish government on economic matters, and member of a government commission now completing a three-year study of population problems in Sweden.
