The appointment of Gaspar G. Bacon '08 as assistant professor of Government and United States Citizenship on the Maxwell Foundation at Boston University was announced yesterday by Dr. Daniel L. Marsh, President of the University.
Bacon was elected Lieutenant-Governor of the State of Massachusetts in 1933. Before that he was a member of the State Senate and he was also formerly a member of the Board of Overseers of Harvard University.
The newly appointed assistant professor made the headlines last year when it was revealed that he went to tutoring school for aid in a course he was taking at Harvard.
