The Radio Workshop's program for the broadcast of ten programs dealing with topics of social and political import in America is well under way with script writing for the subjects already begun and expected to be completed before the Christmas vacations.
The broadcasts, which will deal with such subjects of American civilization as "The Meaning of the Western Movement" and "The Economic Integration of the United States," are to be produced, shortly after the mid-year examination period, by the short wave, non-commercial radio station WRUL.
Although the personnel of the project is already quite large, the Workshop is holding a meeting at 7:30 o'clock on Monday, in the organization's offices at 46 Holyoke Street, to recruit new members, preferably from the Sophomores and Freshmen classes, although others are not excluded.
