Instrumental Clubs Take in Crimsonian Dance Orchestra

"Gold Coast" Chosen as New Name of Stan Brown's Swing Band

Stan Brown and his Crimsonian dance orchestra, which will henceforth assume the traditional name 'Gold Coast Orchestra," were officially welcomed into the ranks of the Instrumental Clubs last night at the Clubs' fifty-third annual banquet.

The 17 new members who were just taken into the Clubs are: Dana W. Atchley, Jr. '39. Chester C. d'Autrement '41, Lester D. Berger, Jr. '40, Stan Brown '41, Gifford Kitteredge '40, Stan Brown '41, Gifford Kitteredge '40, Joseph T. Knowles '42, Irving M. Shepard '39, Michael Levin '42, S. Vaughan ocC., Francis W. Scofield '40, Llewellyn Vorley '41, Richard D. Whittemore '41, William M. Wood, 3rd '42, and John H. Wulsin '42.

Included in the Clubs' plans for next year is a two-concert weekend in New York and informal appearances of various units at college and school proms.
