More Than 300 to Take Part In Mass Demonstration of Skill In Maneuvers

More than 300 undergraduates, students in the Military Science courses of the University, will take part in the annual review and inspection of the Harvard R. O. T. C. unit next Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at Soldiers Field.

The demonstration, which is open to the public, will include battery drill, truck driving, equitation, pistol practice, survey, harnessing, and communications.

Major General to Review

The University battalion will be reviewed by Major General James A. Woodruff, commanding officer of the First Corps Area, and by President Conant and the University Overseers' visiting committee to the Department of Military Science. The official inspection and report on the unit will be made by Lieutenant Colonel Oscar I. Gates, Seventh Field Artillery, Fort Ethan Allen, Vermont.

The parade of the unit will be held from 2:30 to 3:00 o'clock with music by the Fort Devens band. The demonstrations will begin immediately following.

In charge of the University R. O. T. C. unit is Lieutenant Colonel Arthur R. Harris, of the Field Artillery.
