Mikkolamen Seek Second Win In Holy Cross Contest Today
Coach Jaakko Mikkola's barriers go after their second win in as many starts this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock when they play host to Holy Cross at Soldiers Field.
Captain Langdon Burwell heads the list of ten men who will traverse the four mile course to the finish line near Newell Boat House.
In addition to Burwell will be Kay Rogers, Bob McLoughlin, Bob Nichols, John Sopka, Bob Jay, Malcolm MacKenzie, Tom McElligott, Bob Burns, and Joe Scott. Ed Cook, Sophomore star, will not run because of a laboratory.
The Yardlings will tackle the Holy Cross Freshmen in a preliminary meet.
