Harvard Law School Students Pass Referendum Urging University To Divest From Israel
Steering away from the University Pariotal rules, the Eliot House Tutors and House Committee have voted to allow more freedom in the entertaining of women and have extended the hours for radio playing on Saturday nights.
The Junior Common Room will be open to ladies from 5 until 8 o'clock on Friday and Saturday afternoons, and between noon and 2:30 o'clock on Saturdays and Sundays. All women are expected to leave the building within fifteen minutes after the time limit.
Music Room Privileges
In addition, members of Eliot House may have ladies in the Music Room between 1 and 7 o'clock Saturdays and for a period not exceeding one hour.
To give students the opportunity to hear fine music available at that time, the new ruling allows radios to be played until 11:30 o'clock on Saturday nights. This change is merely an experiment and if violated consistently will be dropped.
Because of an increase in petty thievery, the Larz Anderson Gate on the corner of Boylston St. and Memorial Drive will be closed all day from the Yale game until the spring vacation. This change has been made because the janitors do most of their work inside and people entering the gate cannot be seen from the janitors' office.
