Rout Heralded Indians by 8 to 1 Score 3 Crimson Players Win Straight Sets

A powerful, well-balanced Crimson squash team laced the best squad Dartmouth ever had 8 to 1 in Hanover Saturday afternoon, and Jack Barnaby defeated Coach Red Hoehn of the Green in an exhibition match, three games to one.

Prize Sophomore, Galen Felt, led off with a 3 to 0 win at number one, while Sandy Parker and Orme Wilson duplicated his feat at eight and nine. The other matches were closer, with Sonny Lyell winning 3 to 2 at number two, Gene Nickerson 3 to 1 at three, Decker Orr 3 to 2 at five, Dave de Kruif 3 to 1 at six, and Captain Don Marvin 3 to 1 at seven. Number four man, Hal Barker, dropped a close five game match to Leopold of Dartmouth.

The Yardlings lost to Exeter 4 to 1 in the Cambridge courts.
