Three Public Lectures Are Scheduled For This Evening

Merriam to Give Third Godkin Lecture; Latcurette, Hazard to Speak

Three free public lectures will be given at Harvard this evening, one on democracy, one on France, and one on Christianity.

Professor Charles E. Merriam, of the University of Chicago, Godkin Lecturer at Harvard this year, will talk on "Democracy and Administrative Management," at 8 o'clock in Littauer Conter. This is the fourth of his series of Godkin lectures on "On the Agenda of Democracy."

Dr. Konneth S. Latcurette, Professor of Missions and Oriental History at Yale, will talk on "Our Own Age," in Appleton Chapel, at 8 o'clock. This is the fourth of his series of William Belden Noble Lectures at Harvard this year on "The Outlook for Christianity."

Professor Paul Hazard, of the Academic Francaise, will lecture in French on "1840; on France il y a Cent Ans," in Emerson Hall at 8 o'clock, under the auspices of the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures.
