PUCKMEN WEAKENED FOR TIGER CONTEST

Injury ridden and exhausted by its Canadian trip, the Varsity hockey team tackles the Tiger in its lair this evening in a return game at Princeton.

Crimson hopes of avenging the 5 to 4 defeat delivered by Princeton here February 17 were badly shaken when it was learned that neither veteran net-minder Vint Freedley nor Prennie Willetts, second trio wing, will be able to play.

Sophomore Abbot Fenn will guard the nets in place of Freedley, who never again will be able to play hockey because of a serious fracture of his cheek bone which he received in the Toronto tilt.

Though untested in league tilts, Fenn has shown up well in practice and can be counted upon to play a steady game against the Tigers tonight. He may divide net duties with George Schrafft and Bob Kayser.

Willetts May Play Saturday

The absence of Prennie Willetts, who with Stacy Hulse has formed Hodder's strongest scoring combination, will be another blow to the Crimson. He may not even play against Yale.

Taking Willetts' place on the second trio will be Bill Claflin, with Hulse on the other wing, and Dave Eaton as center. Eaton will also probably start at center on the first line with Warren Winslow and Skip Ervin, though he will soon be shifted back to the second line. Then, high scorer Warren Winslow will center the first trio with Forbes Perkins filling out the wing position.

Hodder will probably make considerable use of his third line of Bob Cox, Bob Gorham, and George Duane. At their usual defense positions will be Captain Bill Coleman and Sherm Gray.
