DRIVE WILL START TODAY FOR FINNISH RELIEF FUND

Undergraduates will be given an opportunity to contribute to the Finnish relief fund, according to plans announced yesterday by Guilliaem Aertsen, chairman of the Harvard Committee on Finnish Relief. Boxes will be placed in all the House dining rooms besides the Freshman Union starting today.

In addition, boxes will be found in Harvard and Sever Halls this morning, Friday, and Saturday mornings, attended by Arthur O. Smith '40 and William J. Shallow '40. Contributions, which will be received during mealtimes until Saturday evening, will be turned over to the Red Cross for the relief of Finnish soldiers and families.

Finland Brave Nation

Aertsen says that "since Finland is willing to suffer in defense of those ideals and principles which underlie our own Constitution, and which we hold to be good, true, and fundamental, certainly we must not fail to offer aid to that small, brave nation."

This plan for Harvard contributions, which was initiated by Jaakko Mikkola, is under the direction of the following students: Joseph C. Scott '43 in the Union, Cyrus C.
