NINE BLANKED BY BIG GREEN

Wonson Limits Crimson to Two Hits in 6-0 Victory

HANOVER, N. H.--Chief Hal Wonson of the Indian nine humbled the Stahlmen with his magic arm, allowing only two hits, singles by Freddy Keyes and Gil Whittemore, while chutting out the Crimson squad 6 to 0 in a game played at Hanover yesterday afternoon.

Pitching with the case which brought the Indians the League championship two years ago, Wonson issued only two bases on balls. He set down the Crimson batters in order until when two were out in the sixth, shortstop Freddy Keyes dropped a single over the head of the Indian first-sacker. Gil Whittemore, up next, fouled to the catcher for the third out.

Whittemore Bate Out Hit

Then the Dartmouth captain tightened up again and put out every man up until the first of the ninth when, with two out, Whittemore connected and beat out a slow grounder to Johnnie Lendo at short.

Burgy Ayres on the mound for the Stahlmen ran into double trouble issuing eleven hits, four of which were doubles. Lou Clay finally took over the hurling chores after seven and one-third innings, passed two men and allowed no hits.

Tully Out

Bill Tully, Coach Stahl's red-haired regular first baseman, did not make the trip. He suffered a hernia on Monday and will be unable to play during the rest of this season.
