TRACKMEN TO TANGLE WITH YALE TEAM

Crimson, at Full Strength, Sees Win Over Favored Blue

Jaakko Mikkola's cohorts will seek their twenty-first victory against the Elis in the annual dual meet tomorrow at 1:30 o'clock on Soldiers Field. Because of their run away in the Heptagonal the Eli track forces have been made on odds on pre-game favorite, but Crimson sympathizers can easily make a case for a Harvard victory.

Because of the uncertainty of any contest with Yale, predictors often find themselves left out on a limb after the final results have been tabulated. The importance of the meet tightens up some star performers, makes mediocre men turn in times and distances beyond their capabilities, and, thus, is apt to result in a complete reversal of past form.

Captain Jim Lightbody, competing in his last Yale meet, should garner ten points for Harvard in the 440 and 880. The Elis have a clear edge in the running events, but the Crimson superiority in the field events should swing the tide in favor of the Mikkolamen.

At Full Strength

For the first time this year the Mikkolamen will be at full strength for this all-important meet. With the approach of the contest with their New Haven rivals, the cinder invalids are revitalized and are now fit and ready for action.

George Downing, senior weight man, was forced to defer practice until after he had taken his divisonals. With one short week of work-outs behind him, Downing heaved the discus 130 feet in the Heptagonal. Zilly, the Yale entrant, got of his beat toss of the year for 138 feet to take a place in the event. After an extra week's practice Downing should be able to reach 140 feet tomorrow, which would insure him a first place in the event
