China Essay Winners

Honery Oyen of Elliott House and New York City was awarded a fourth prize of $100 in the China Essay Contest for his paper on the subject: "Our Stake in the Future of China."

Maurice Friedman '43, received a fifth prize of $50 for his essay submitted to the committee. The winner of the contest received $1,200 in cash and a free trip to China on the clipper.
