The B team walked away with top honors in last week's Varsity squash play by upsetting the powerful Union Boat Club outfit in five tight matches Wednesday. The score was 4 to 1, with every match going almost to the final point of the fifth game.

Sandy Parker, Captain Don Marvin Dave DeKruif, and Dudley Palmer were the winners for Harvard in prolonged duels, while Orme Wilson suffered the lone defeat. The victory elevated the Harvard B squad into a first place tie in the league with the University Club forces and dumped the Union Boat Club down into third place. The remainder of the race promises to be very close, with mid-year exams threatening the immediate prospects of the Barnabymen.

Freshmen Lose

The Freshmen took another trimming in the C loop on Thursday, losing 4 to 1 to the University Club. Harvard's only winner was number one man Pete Grey, who disposed of his opponent in three games. Grey was number nine at Exeter last year and has improved by leaps and bounds this season. The Freshman D squad fell before Tufts, 5 to 0, at Medford.

The Varsity C team defeated the Newton Squash and Tennis Club, 3 to 2 on Thursday afternoon. Bill Frothingham, George Clay, and Aubrey Gould, at one, two, and three respectively, were responsible for the win. The victory sent the C team up to a second place tie in the league with the Newton five.
