BOOK TURNERS ATTACK ADAMS, REVERSE UPPER TWO SHELVES

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The widening ring of vandalism spread to Adams House sometime late Monday night when a person or persons unknown reversed all the books in the top two shelves of the House library.

As usual, the pranksters left no clues and the House staff was at a loss to discover how the practical jokers had made an entrance into the locked room.

Joseph Summers '41, chairman of the Adams House library committee, said philosophically last night, "At least it gave us an opportunity to find out what books we have on those top shelves. Nobody ever uses them."
