Over 100 Students Ask Bio-Chemistry Course

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Because of a petition circulated by the Student Problems Committee of the Harvard Liberal Union, a course in Bio-Chemistry will probably be added to the courses available for undergraduates next year.

The petition, signed by over 100 students of Biology D and Biology 2, will be presented to Alden B. Dawson, Professor of Zoology and Director of Biological Laboratories, today.

Although the Biology Department has considered such a course for several years, it has failed to take any action, mainly because it has felt there was not enough interest among the students to warrant it.

Unofficial sources indicate that the Biology Department will accede to the demands of the petition and will give a course next year consisting of both laboratory periods and lectures.
