"The Talking Brain" is the title of the horror thriller to be broadcast by the Radio Workshop tonight at 9:30 o'clock over the Crimson Radio Network.
The plot involves a cruel scientist who is inspired to keep a human brain alive after he has watched a chicken heart artificially sustained. The victim is a young poet of a particularly kindly nature, who acts as a psychological foil to the scientist.
Art Gnaedinger adapted the play from a short story by M. H. Hasta. Melvin T. Rodman '42, Jerry McMechan '43, Arthur J. Benson 3G, and S. Leonard Kent '43 play the leading roles; Robert Forsberg '41 wrote the music; and Donald Ross '43 did the sound.
