Volunteers for the national civilian defense program may register during next week with the local unit of the National Defense Committee.
Registration with the National Defense Committee is on a voluntary basis, as are the duties to which the registrants would be called in time of need.
Cooperating with the National Defense Committee of the City of Cambridge, the University has agreed to facilitate the possible registration of the huge number of persons associated with it who reside in the Cambridge area.
Members of the Faculty, members of the Administration staffs, employees, and their families, may secure blanks and register at the following places from March 24 until March 28.
Faculty members in the Faculty Room in University Hall; Employees in the Maintenance Building, Lehman Hall, and the Bursar's Office; dining hall employees may secure blanks from the stewards of their units.
