BRITISH ENVOY AT ALL-SENIOR, ALUMNI FEST

Sir Gerald Campbell, minister to the United States from Great Britain, will be guest speaker at an informal dinner meeting for Alumni and Seniors tonight in the Eliot House dining halls. All Seniors have been invited to attend the dinner, which will begin at 6:30 o'clock and which will give Seniors their first chance to get together as a class since their Freshman year.

Presiding officer at the dinner, Governor Leverett Saltonstall '14 will speak to the Seniors as Governor of the Commonwealth and as president of the Alumni Association.

Second Alumni Dinner

Arranged to inform the Seniors, as prospective Alumni, about the activities and responsibilities of the Alumni Association, the dinner is the second such to be held here for Alumni and members of the graduating class.

The first dinner was arranged last spring by the then president of the Alumni Association, Dr. Elliot C. Cutler '09, Mosley Professor of Surgery here. Guest speaker last year was Fiorello LaGuardia, Mayor of New York, who delivered a broadside against the German invasion of Norway and Denmark.

Professor Roger B. Merriman, Eliot House Master, will tonight again act as host to the dinner meeting of the Alumni and Seniors.

With Arthur T. Lyman '16, Massachusetts State Commissioner of Correction, as chairman, the committee on arrangements includes: Dwight P. Robinson, Jr. '20, David McCord '21, Langdon P. Marvin, Jr. '41, Maurice F. Healy, Jr. '41, Lynn A. Brua 3rd '41, Alfred J. Gilbert '41, William Edgar, Jr. '41, Joseph A. Hartman '41, and John C. Robbins '42.
