Despite an impressive 9 to 0 victory over Brown last Tuesday, the Varsity netmen will have to rely on Lady Luck if they expect to down a highly-favored Yale tennis aggregation at New Haven tomorrow afternoon.

Coach Bill Hinchliff's team is the strongest team in New England, having dropped only two contests. North Carolina turned the trick early in the season with a 6 to 3 score, while Mercor Beasley's Princeton forces won a recent match, 10 to 5.

Freedman Yale Star

The most outstanding player for the Blue is Bob Freedman, who recently captured the New England intercollegiate singles crown at Amherst. Other players are Captain Sewell Cutler, Phil Steckler, Chuck Spaulding, Jim Etheridge, and Tom Wilner.

Playing singles for the Crimson will be Jim Jenkins, Homer Peabody, Captain Sonny Lyell, Russ Ellis, Orme Wilson, and Aubrey Gould. Howie Ezell, who has played in every Varsity match this season, was beaten in a recent test match by Gould for the number six singles position.
