Spring Vacation at Harvard Not to be Cancelled in 1942

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

In reply to questions from the student body, the University announced yesterday that all vacations scheduled for this semester would take place, although no definite policy has as yet been formulated for the future.

Rumors that the spring recess from March 29 to April 5 had been cancelled arose because other Eastern colleges such as Dartmouth, Brown, Cornell, and Williams, with acceleration programs different from Harvard's had called off spring vacation.

The holiday for Washington's birthday on Monday, February 23, will also be given as scheduled.
