Yale Graduation Accelerated; Will Take Place December 15

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Acceleration at Yale hit a new high when it was announced last week that graduation of the Senior Class would take place December 19, revising a plan under which diplomas would have been mailed to Seniors.

The ceremony will consist of simple graduation exercises with the award of Senior prizes, conferring of degrees and a baccalaureate address by President Seymour.

Simultaneously it was announced that a part of the abbreviated wartime commencement would be the awarding of commissions to the graduating members of the Naval ROTC and of Military Training Certificates to members of the Field Artillery Training Unit.
