Almost two-thirds of the Class of 1943 will apply for a February degree, it was announced yesterday, as the University sent questionnaires to all members of the class requesting information on their future plans.
In addition to giving College authorities an idea of the number of accelerating Seniors who will have amassed sufficient credits to graduate this term, the survey will also reveal how many men wish to take their General Examination in January.
In accordance with the reduction in requirements announced Wednesday, student will be allowed to take these examinations, even though they still lack two credits for their degree. Many men are expected to take advantage of this provision, it was revealed.
In order that the College can obtain this information as soon as possible, all students are asked to return their blanks to University Hall by next Wednesday at the latest.
