Formation swimming by the Wellesley Water Ballet, diving exhibitions by Wellesley and Harvard students, and several races will be the attractions at the Water Carnival in the pool of the Indoor Athletic Building next Wednesday at 8:15 o'clock.

A comedy diving act was originally scheduled, but this had to be cancelled because the participants were drafted. The program will include rhythmic swimming and waltzing by the Water Ballet.

The races that will be held are the National A.A.U. junior 200 yard free style relay for men, the New England A.A.A.U. 100 yard senior free style for men, the New England A.A.A.U. 100 yard free style swim for women, the Massachusetts 100 yard backstroke championship swim, and the 200 yard House championship relay.

The carnival, the first to be held at Harvard since 1938, is under the direction of Walter F. Rogers, Jr. '43, who is manager of intramural swimming.
