With a record of one victory in eight starts, the Varsity lacrosse team goes into the Yale game at 3:30 o'clock this afternoon with, at best, only a fighting chance to win against a team with four wins in five games.

Varsity coach Ben Martin will rely on essentially the same lincup that served him so well against the Boston Lacrosse Club last Saturday, and hope that for once lightning will strike in the same place twice.

Also underdogs, but with a better chance, the Yardling stickmen meet the Eli cubs on the adjoining Business School field at the same time as the Varsity. The Freshmen have won three out of seven, while their oppenents have split four. By these figures, the teams should be equal, but Deerfield, which needed two extra periods to nose out the Bulldogs, swamped the Crimson 18 to 5. In this last game of the season the Yardlings will be led by their newly eleted captain Herbie Allen.

Pro-grame lineup: Varsity: Green 8, Moot p. Tine cp. Bridge 1d, Conlin 2d, Sullivan c. Fenn (Capt.) 2a. Hurley 1a, Donahue oh, Simmons ih. Freshmen: Levy g, Thomas p, Donahue cp. Brackett 1d. Close 2d, Harris c. Greeubsige 2a, Allen (Capt.) Is, Osborne oh. Cook ih.
