A reception on the eve of his departure from the headship of the Business School was tendered Wallace B. Donham last night by the staff of the school. Present was Dean Donald K. David, who becomes head of the school today.
Donham becomes George F. Baker Professor of Administration today. Under his deanship the school grew from a struggling institution crippled by the first World War into a thriving branch of the University playing an all-important part in World War II.
Dean David left the presidency of the American Maize Products Company, and a prominent place in the business world to become assistant dean, and was formally named dean, to take over today, during the May meetings of the Over-score.
