3 TRACKMEN PLACE IN SCOTTISH MEET

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Amid the festive skirlings of several dozen bagpipes, the annual Scottish Clans Labor Day Meet gave three Harvard trackmen a chance to prove their mettle in the three mile run. Bob Kent took a second closely followed by Tim Coggeshall in third. Will Dalrymple, track manager took a sixth.

The race was close in the early laps with Kent and Bob Black fighting it out for first. In the last two laps, however, Black pulled way ahead to secure his lead, while Coggeshall came up to take third.
