NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Leaving for active duty with the United States Army, the first class of 150 chaplains graduated Saturday at Sanders Theatre after completing a 28-day training period, making room for a new group of 300 men who arrived Monday to fill the places of the departing officers.

At the ceremony, Chaplain (Col.) William D. Cleary, commandant of the school, presented diplomas after Brig. Gen. Thomas E. Troland, in command of the M.P. battalion of the First Service Command, delivered the graduation address.
