P. B. H. TO AID SERVICE MEN

Threefold service will be provided all men who are leaving College for the armed forces after February by the Contact Committee of Phillips Brooks House, it was announced last night. PBH is prepared to provide men in the services with the names of all Harvard men in the same camp, the addresses of other Harvard men in the services, or to write letters to families in the vicinity in order to provide entertainment for the men.

It was stressed, however, that this service would only be available to those men who mailed postcards to PBH addressed: "Contact, Phillips Brooks House, Cambridge, Mass.," and giving their addresses. PBH will then be in a position to provide the required information. The success of the plan will of course depend upon the number of men who mail cards.

Part of the personnel committee under Peter F. Kranz '45, the Contact Committee is compiling files and geographical charts. It was pointed out that this service of PBH would not duplicate the work of the Alumni Bulletin which is also compiling lists of the first service address of all men in the armed forces.

This service will only be available to those members of the classes of '43 through '46 who are leaving after February, since no record has been kept of the addresses of those who have already going into the Armed Forces.
