Robert Frost will give the first of a series of five readings from his poems on Wednesday, November 24, at 8 o'clock in the New Lecture Hall. The readings are open to all servicemen stationed here and their wives. Tickets may be obtained without charge on application to the appropriate officer at the different service schools no later than November 20.
Frost, an associate member of Adams House last year, frequently gave readings and led discussions on poetry in House and College gatherings. Last May he was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for his volume of poems, "A Witness Tree."
