Crimson Edged By Holy Cross Linksmen 5 to 4

After a perfect record of three victories had been racked up by the golf team, a close match was dropped at the hands of Holy Cross at the Oakley Country Club on Saturday afternoon, by a 5 to 4 score. The return match with BU, scheduled for Friday, was postponed on account of rain.

Playing in the number one slot Foster Boardman dropped the closest game of the afternoon, which went to 19 holes, to Captain Gahan of the Holy Cross linksmen. A distinct disadvantage was given the Crimson when their sixth man failed to show up and it was necessary to continue play with an incomplete roster.
