NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

With the cast stabilized, the Harvard Dramatic Club is now rehearsing its spring production, Synge's "The Playboy of the Western World." The joint production with the Radcliffe Idler is scheduled for May 11, 12, and 13 at Brattle Hall.

A comedy of Irish peasant life. "Playboy" had its premiere in Dublin early in the century and has since become classic. Boston audience at first objected to it, but in 1936 when the Abbay Players of Dublin brought it here, it was received with great enthusiasm. It has not been produced since.

Loslie Paul, of Radcliffe, the female lead, has played the lead in Synge's other great drama. "Riders to the Sea."
