Enrollment of College Set At 5,435; Vets 71%

The minds in University Hall who last spring estimated this fall's College population at 5,500 overshot their mark by less than a hundred, final registration figures revealed last night. Sargent Kennedy, Registrar, set the record-breaking total College enrollment at 5,435, including 3,872, or 71 per cent, veterans.

Of the veterans, 805 are new men, 1,031 are returning veternas, and 2,036 attended the College either last spring or last summer. Final registration figures for the University were not available last night.
