The golf team, after a wartime period of suspended animation is functioning again, although it no longer has the use of the Belmont Country Club and practices now at the Brookline Municipal Course.

Only one match is scheduled for the golfers, that being the New England Intercollegiates at the Wachusett Country Club in Boylston Center on May 17 and 18. Negotiations have been started for matches with Williams, Amherst, Exeter, Andover, M.I.T., and Yale.

Leading candidates for positions on the team are Paul Coste, Charley Mulcahy, last winter's squash captain, Don Davis, a member of the 1942 Varsity, Bill Rickenbacker, and Jim Hubbell. The final composition of the squad is still in a state of flux, and new candidates are still welcome. All they need do to drop into Winthrop E-11.
