After postponing yesterday's baseball game with Brown because of rain, the Varsity nine will travel to Providence this afternoon to seek their third win for the season. Coach Stahl still plans to start lefty John Knowles on the mound against the Bruina and the same lineup otherwise as played in Saturday's contest.
Knowles last pitched against Boston College, losing 4 to 1 when four errors in one inning cost that number of runs.
Coach Stahl, discounting comparative scores that show Harvard-Tufts 5 to 4 and Brown-Tufts 13 to 1, predicted that "if we play as well as we did Saturday, we ought to give them a whale of a battle."
