Research Scientist Wins $1000 Fellowship From Westinghouse

Julius Miklowitz, 27 year old research scientist, won a $1000 Westinghouse Research Scholarship which he will use on further work for a doctorate in applied mechanics here at the University.

Miklowitz has worked with Westinghouse since 1943 as a research scientist on government work. He has helped conduct a series of experiments to develop a stranger steel for military use.
