Varsity racqueteers will embark tonight on the first Crimson squash invasion of Canada, a trip which will include games with three of the hottest Canadian teams.
The weekend journey includes matches with McGill, Toronto, and the Montreal Athletic Club, all excellent teams, Coach Jack Barnaby reported. McGill's squad stars intercollegiate champs Pete Landrey, who will face Harvard's top man, Adam Foster, in the featured match.
"Favored on Depth"
"We're favored on depth," Barnaby declared, "but we can't promise anything since we'll be in strange courts after a night on the sleeper." Last year the Crimson defeated McGill 3 to 2.
The coach praised the recent play of Lane McGovern, "the most improved player on the team," as well as that of the others, including the three Foster brothers, Adam, Henry, and Hugh.
