LIVE UPDATES: Pro-Palestine Protesters Begin Encampment in Harvard Yard
With the weather man predicting clear skies this afternoon, the Varsity and Freshman baseball teams hope to end a four-day period of hibernation at Soldiers Field today. Dolph Samborski's forces will take on Boston University at 4 o'clock with the Yardlings playing off their postponed contest with the Brown Freshmen at the same time.
Contests scheduled for all three College nines--the Varsity, Jayvees and Freshmen--were cancelled Saturday because of the heavy weekend downpour. The Varsity's engagement with Penn will be rescheduled only if it affects the Ivy League championship at the end of the season.
Ira Godin or Barry Turner will probably take the mound today against the Terriers, whose weak-hitting outfield has been bolstered by the addition of three football players who have completed spring football training under Buff Donelli. Southpay Jack Snow is expected to start for the visitors.
