Two Scholarships Given to Students

The Committee on Scholarships announced yesterday the award of the Richard Perkins Parker Scholarship to Joseph D. Everingham '49, of Kirkland House and Clearwater, Florida.

One of the highest honors given annually, the scholarship has been awarded to Everingham as "a junior of high character and ability who has demonstrated his qualifications by intellectual achievement and participation in the student activities of the College."

Also the recipient of honors was James C. Richards '48, who received the Stanley Bagg Pennock Scholarship for his work in Chemistry. Richards, who now holds a Money scholarship, is a native of Canton, North Carolina and lives with his family in Cambridge.
