Henry Lamar's freshman football team went to work yesterday perfecting its newly-found passing attack for Friday's meeting with a B.U. powerhouse that last week tumbled Dartmouth's highly-rated freshmen 39 to 0.
Mindful of the many touchdowns lost in previous games when aerial plays failed, Coach Lamar is giving his ends and backs plenty of practice at pass-receiving this week. Captain Carroll Lowenstein's bullseye pitching has so far shown little need for improvement.
With three games gone, Lamar is more sure of his lineup, which so far has been largely a matter of guesswork. Don Cass will probably be promoted to a starting role at end, and Bill Campbell is being brought up from the "B" team to strengthen the backfield.
