Frederick M. Fialkow '51, chairman of the Phillips Brooks House blood committee, last night announced a total of 144 pints of blood had been received during the committee's two-day drive.
The original goal for the campaign called for 200 pints, but 79 students were turned away by the Red Cross bloodmobile for being under the state-enforced 21-year-old age limit. Red Cross officials are now considering taking action to persuade the state to alter the law.
