Mikkola to Get New Assistant Next Fall

Carl G. Olson, assistant track coach at Belmont High School, has been appointed aide to Jaakko Mikkola, Athletic Director Bill Bingham disclosed last night. Olson, a Bowdoin College graduate, will begin work here September 1.

The now assistant, who is 34, will help out Coach Mikkola with the cross country and track squads and will also act as Freshman track coach. Doug Pirnie '43 has been filling in as Freshman coach this spring.
