The Jayvee baseball team made its fourth straight victory a convincing one, as it unloaded 13 hits and 17 runs on a hapless Nichols Junior nine yesterday afternoon on the Dudley diamond. The score: 17-5.
The Crimson onslaught began in the second inning with two runs and from then on the game was never in doubt. Meanwhile Barry Turner limited Nichols to seven hits and two earned runs.
Bucky Harrison led the attack which sent five Nichols pitchers to the showers with a single, double, and triple for four trips to the plate.
